Privacy policy

This site, communicationiscare.com, is operated by Jennifer George, an independent speaker and author based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is the person accountable for the information described here.

The booking form on the home page asks for the following. Your name, email address, and message are required; the rest are optional.

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your organization
• The type of event
• The event date, if you know it
• Your message about the event and audience

That is the entire list. The form does not ask for a phone number, a mailing address, or any payment details, and there is no account to create.

The only purpose is to answer your speaking inquiry. When you submit the form, the information is passed to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which forwards it as an email to Jennifer's inbox. Web3Forms handles it in transit under its own privacy policy. There is no database on this site, and submissions are not stored in your browser.

Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else for marketing, and it is not used to add you to a mailing list. You will not get a newsletter because you sent an inquiry.

• No cookies are set.
• No session or screen recording, no advertising or social media tracking pixels, and no data brokers.
• No attempt to identify you or follow you between sites. Page views are counted in aggregate only, as described in the next section.
• No third-party fonts are loaded at page view. The typefaces are served from this site's own domain, so viewing a page does not report anything back to a font provider.
• No profiling and no automated decision making.

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they land on. It records aggregate technical details such as the page URL, the referring site, the country, and the general browser and device type.

It is deliberately the privacy-preserving option rather than a full advertising analytics suite. It sets no cookies, it stores nothing in your browser, it does not fingerprint you, it does not build a profile of you, and it cannot follow you to any other website. The numbers only answer questions like how many people read the speaking page this month. Cloudflare processes this as described in its privacy policy.

Because nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is created, there is no consent banner to click and nothing to opt out of. Blocking scripts in your browser or an ad blocker will stop the count as well.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings, which is used to serve the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse. That logging happens at the hosting layer and is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Some buttons and links on this site take you somewhere else: a Google Calendar scheduling page to book an introductory call, Amazon to buy the book, and LinkedIn and Instagram. Once you follow one of those links you are on that company's site, and its own privacy policy and cookies apply, not this one. Nothing from those services is embedded in these pages.

Inquiry emails stay in Jennifer's inbox for as long as they are useful for the conversation and any resulting engagement, in line with normal business record keeping. If you would like your inquiry deleted sooner, ask and it will be removed.

You can ask what information about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected] and Jennifer will handle it directly, normally within 30 days.

For visitors in Canada, this site is operated in keeping with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you equivalent rights of access, correction, erasure, and objection, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority. The lawful basis for handling what you send through the form is your own request to be contacted.

This site is aimed at event organizers and healthcare professionals. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

If the site changes in a way that affects this notice, for example if a video player, an analytics tool, or a newsletter signup is added, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
